Description: Brass sign with words "Irving W. Wiswell, Attorney at Law ." Name of sign maker on bottom.
Irving Wiswall was a prominent member of the Saratoga County Bar. His office was located in the former Wiley Block at the Northeast corner of Front and Bath streets. Mr. Wiswall lived at the corner of West High Street and Low Street. He served as Village Attorney and Mayor. He donated Wiswall Park to the community. The brass "shingle" was discarded by his widow and retrieved by the dnor who retained it for its potential historical significance.
