Description
|
Octagonal silver cup with beading on the rim and an ornate ear-shaped handle.
A round tray (3.88 dia.) with a flared lip fits into the cup. The tray bottom is divided, one part solid with a rim and small drain holes.
The shaving mug belonged originally to Roy Thayer, an attorney who had an office in Ballston Spa. It was purchased by the donor in the early 1940s from Mrs. Thayer after her husband's death.
