Description
|
An iron pin (1.5" dia.) with 4 equally spaced flanges and two 5.5" dia. iron rings. Gudgeons were inserted in the end of a wooden shaft to provide bearings for wooden shafting. This gudgeon, as well as the ice tongs and barrel hook (1964.017.0008 - .0009) came from the Dawson-Taylor mill in Charlton.
