Description
|
White linen bedspread. Embroidered on it are the name, place, and date: Ann Eliza Hoyt. Milton. Nov. 1826. The spread, according to the donor, was made of linen thread which was spun and woven in her own home by Ann Eliza Hoyt from flax grown in the Town of Milton. Ann Eliza Hoyt was the sister of the great-grandfather of the donor.
