Improved Hall Typewriter, manufactured for National Typewrite Company, Boston. Patent dates of 1881 and 1886.
Rectangular, varnished wood box with brass handle and logo plate, machine instruction sheet pasted on inside of cover. Machine is fastened to interior box bottom. To type, direct pointer to desired letter or symbol listed on 2.25. x 2
