It's Spring!
And we are gearing up for our twenty - year old
education program:
Sheep
to Shawl
Who it's for:
Area
school groups aged Nursery School to grade 5

about:
Sheep
shearing, spinning, weaving, etc.
When it's

(2008 schedule):

30, May 1 & 2
May 6, 7, and 8
9: 30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., or 12:45 p.m.
Where it's
offered:
at
Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa
Why we offer
it:
Because
it's an interactive, hands - on program relating to the processing
of wool from the sheep to a shawl.
What we
charge:
$3.25
for students attending member schools
$3.75 for students attending non-member schools
**Chaperones will be charged the same fee as the students.
There will be no charge for teachers and teacher aides.**

Brookside
has offered high-quality programs for area schools for nearly thirty
years. Our three main programs, A Brookside Harvest,
Native
New York, and Sheep to Shawl attract some 6,000 children from
six New York counties every year. Other
programs are available throughout the year, as well as a set of
traveling trunks.
Early
and discount registration is available to all member
schools.
