All water contains certain salts.
To be considered mineral water, the water must contain a certain amount of
dissolved minerals. The amount of dissolved minerals is fifty grains
per gallon. The mineral water in the Ballston Spa area fits into
that guideline. The waters of the Ballston area contain the highest
concentration of minerals because the water comes from the deepest
wells. (The deeper the well, the higher the concentration of
minerals.) |
