Collections

As the home of the Saratoga County Historical Society, it is our job to collect and preserve items that tell the story of Saratoga County. Our collection contains over 20,000 items including photographs, objects, manuscripts, and books and can be searched online by clicking here.

Our collections are stored on-site in our historic building. Because we are permanently chartered through New York State we strive to meet or exceed collections care standards as outlined by the Board of Regents. We are committed to making these items accessible to the public while balancing preservation needs. We strongly encourage historical research using our collections.
