Lives:
in Ballston Spa
Works:
retired school librarian
Volunteers:
on Fridays in the library
Dorothy has done a
monumental job in Brookside’s library. Many years of work has
resulted in our library collection being completely catalogued,
organized and accessible.
In addition to
correctly labeling each book, ensuring that the catalogue records
are complete and consistent, Dorothy also supervised the
relocation of the archives and library to a different room in our
building.
Dorothy also served on
our Strategic Planning committee, participated in the Conservation
Assessment Program (CAP), and faithfully attends as many programs
and events as she can work into her busy schedule.,
Thank
you Dorothy.
We appreciate all you do. |
Is there someone out there
who would be interested in volunteering to help our researcher with
genealogy requests? Our research requests are increasing and we could
use some help!
Tasks would include
answering researcher questions in person, by phone and through email,
copying file requests and possibly using other local repositories for
research requests.
If you have a couple hours
a week to spare, please contact Carole at volunteer@brooksidemuseum.org
or call 518.885.4000
