International Paper Company Baseball Team, Corinth, 1920
Factory teams had been a part of baseball in Saratoga County since the 1850's. International Paper employed most of the residents of Corinth in the northwestern corner of the county. Two major strikes crippled the I.P. in 1910 and 1920. As early as the 1890's, baseball players traveled to and from Corinth by train to play their games.
